optional modules

Hello list,

I'm using SpamAssassin with amavisd-new and after starting amavisd it prints
the following lines. I know what some modules are for, but from others I don't
know. Maybe you can help me out.

INFO: SA version: 3.2.5, 3.002005, no optional modules:
Sys::Hostname::Long
What is the benefit of using this modul?

Mail::SpamAssassin::BayesStore::PgSQL
PostgreSQL, all right, I don't use that.

Encode::Detect
I guess this modul is used to detect the language of the message, isn't it?

Mail::SpamAssassin::Plugin::DKIM Mail::DKIM Mail::DKIM::Verifier
DKIM, I know what it is for.

Image::Info Image::Info::GIF Image::Info::JPEG Image::Info::PNG
Image::Info::TIFF
cpan tells me that Image::Info is deprecated, so why should I use it?

Mail::SPF Mail::SPF::Server Mail::SPF::Request Mail::SPF::Mech
Mail::SPF::Mech::A Mail::SPF::Mech::PTR Mail::SPF::Mech::All
Mail::SPF::Mech::Exists Mail::SPF::Mech::IP4 Mail::SPF::Mech::IP6
Mail::SPF::Mech::Include Mail::SPF::Mech::MX Mail::SPF::Mod
Mail::SPF::Mod::Exp Mail::SPF::Mod::Redirect Mail::SPF::SenderIPAddrMech
Mail::SPF::v1::Record Mail::SPF::v2::Record Mail::SPF::Query
SPF, I know it.

NetAddr::IP NetAddr::IP::Util auto::NetAddr::IP::Util::inet_n2dx
auto::NetAddr::IP::Util::ipv6_n2d
What are these modules doing, what is the benefit?

Thank you for your help.
Greetings
Stefan

Sys::Hostname::Long is required by Mail::SPF::Query. However, Mail::SPF::Query
has been superseded by Mail::SPF, which doesn't require Sys::Hostname::Long.

If you have Mail::SPF, you don't need Mail::SPF::Query (although the SpamAssassin build process may complain about it being missing).

Mail::SPF requires NetAddr::IP.
