[Bug 2900] New: Logging: spamd Message-ID vs. sendmail Resent-Message-ID
|
|
http://bugzilla.spamassassin.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2900 Summary: Logging: spamd Message-ID vs. sendmail Resent-Message-ID Product: Spamassassin Version: 2.61 Platform: Other OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: trivial Priority: P5 Component: spamc/spamd AssignedTo: spamassassin-dev [at] incubator ReportedBy: ernst [at] baschny I am writing a tool to analyse my mail-logs, and I need a way to match a spamd check with its corresponding sendmail log entries. The "Message-ID" is logged by both processes, so this is a good candidate. And it works most of the times. But sendmail logs the "Resent-Message-ID" when present in the mail, and spamd always logs the "Message-ID", so in those cases I cannot make a match. Would it be possible to have spamd log the Resent-Message-ID, if available? Maybe this could be a config-option, because I'm not sure how other mail- servers logs it, and even if this is something that bothers someone else besides me. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee.
