Changing owner

I used some contrib code for rt2 to notify ticket owners when tickets had
been given or stolen from them.

Can this be done in rt3 the same way?

Hmm! I thought this user had that permission already. I will look into
that.

First, you have to add the user if they don't already exist. Next, you
have to make sure that user has appropriate permissions to the queue the
ticket is in.

I am running RT 3.6.6. I want to change some owners of tickets but the
drop down box doesn't have the user I want to give it to. How does the
owner field drop down list get populated?

Or how does one change the owner of a ticket?
