RT 3.8.8 RC4 availabled for testing.

Hello,

Fourth release candidate for RT 3.8.8 is now available. If no regressions
reported, this is becoming 3.8.8 on Monday. You can download it from:

Hi,

I found a problem with ticket sorting in 'RT at a glance' components,
for example 'My Newest Unowned Tickets'.
If you set sorting in your preferences or in the saved search '[_1]
newest unowned tickets', the tickets are not in the right order.
If you click on the link, sorting in the 'Show Results' page is OK.
Checked with version 3.8.7 and there was everything fine.

If you set sorting in your preferences or in the saved search '[_1]
newest unowned tickets', the tickets are not in the right order.
If you click on the link, sorting in the 'Show Results' page is OK.

I saw this with an intermediate version of RT (somewhere during 3.8.7
and the current RCs) but after coming up to 3.8.8rc4 I no longer see
it. Can you confirm that you're cleanly on rc4? The change that I
believe fixed it came into trunk around mid april, so if you have any
older code floating around it may cause this.

Fix was in RC3 and I tested it once again. We're preparing a release.

I was on 3.8-trunk from github.
The fix was committed on 3.8.8-releng but not on 3.8-trunk.
As I see Ruslan committed yesterday the fix on 3.8-trunk.
