RELP testing

This probably belongs on the librelp mailing list, but given the lack of
activity there, I thought I may get better results by posting here.

I have been working on integrating GnuTLS into librelp, and I'm at the
point where I need to start testing/debugging.

The problem I'm experiencing, however, is that the only way to do so
that I am aware of is using imrelp and omrelp in rsyslog (for which I am
yet to write the TLS control functionality).

Does anybody have set of simple programs written to test librelp's
client and server functionalities that they are willing to share?

I was looking for something that works independently of rsyslog, in

I was hoping not having to write the test programs as well...
I may end up making the test program out of the existing [io]mrelp code,
get it working with my additions, and then merge changes back into the
modules.

Thanks for the code, though... It may come in handy when I start doing
stress testing.
