$AddUnixListenSocket ??

Hi,

I just noticed that Bind9 recommends adding "$AddUnixListenSocket
/var/named/chroot/dev/log" to /etc/rsyslog.conf to avoid loss of logging if
rsyslogd is restarted. However, I cannot find this directive in the online
documentation or the man pages for rsyslog, so I'm wondering if it is still
necessary.

Thanks,
--Bill

The man pages contain only a subset of all config commands, as the whole set
is too large. Check the HTML documentation for the full set. Depending on
your distro, it is in a specifc -doc package. The doc for the most current
version can also always be found at
