IMP-cvs causing ripmime to go nuts

we've got bad things going on with ripmime on messages composed on
User-Agent: Internet Messaging Program (IMP) 3.1-cvs
Seems that maybe telus.net is using this live now? I have 3 samples,
all of about 5mb each that just chew up CPU and never finish. In each
case, the mua was IMP and sender address was *@telus.net. Anyone else
seeing these issues with IMP-cvs crafted emails w/attachments?

ripmime never completes, even if i give it 120 seconds. mime unpack in
uvscan engine works fine on them.
