In some cases quagga use a wrong mac-address for the vlan interfaces. This is a real problem if you are using ipv6 with stateless address configuration because the router advertisement sends wrong source link-address options. ifconfig vlan307 vlan307: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 vlan: 307 parent: wm1 address: 00:04:23:c1:c4:35 inet6 fe80::204:23ff:fec1:c435%vlan307 prefixlen 64 scopeid 0xf show interface vlan307 Interface vlan307 is up, line protocol detection is disabled index 15 metric 1 mtu 1500 <UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> HWaddr: 00:04:23:c1:c4:00 inet6 fe80::204:23ff:fec1:c435/64 Exists there any patch? Thank you for your efforts Uwe ------- Additional Comments From paul [at] dishone 2007-06-19 14:13 ------- *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 375 *** ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. _______________________________________________ Quagga-bugs mailing list Quagga-bugs [at] lists http://lists.quagga.net/mailman/listinfo/quagga-bugs
