How to remove an email address from black list?

Good morning

One of our customer's email address has entered into the badmailfrom list, we really don't know why cause he only sent three different messages. The thing is, I manually removed his address from badmailfrom, purged the queue and re-run the spam catcher script and once again the address is written into the badmailfrom file.

How can I safely remove someone from badmailfrom?

Thanks

The badmailfrom control file is normally something that is manually
maintained; the only way an address gets added to it is if you edit the file
yourself.

Are you using some other piece of software that automatically adds addresses
to this file? If so, you need to ask the author of that software how to
prevent this from happening.

That shouldn't happen. Removing an address from the file is all that is
necessary from qmail's point of view; qmail-smtpd reads that file upon every
invocation.

Looks like your spam catcher script is the problem. I guess it could be
reading the smtp log or the delivery log and based on some logic
classifying a user fit to be put in the badmailfrom file. Maybe a close
look at this spam catcher script will solve your problem.
