Setup "Delayed Delivery Notification"

Hi All,

is there a was to setup up "Delayed Delivery Notification" with qmail?
Means, to send the sender an informal note, if the mail was not
delivered within X hours.

Reason: I had a problem with a customer who misstyped the receipient
domain. As the misstyped domain name had a valid MX record but no one
was responding the mail stuck in the queue and bounced after 7 days.

Of course there is. Go to www.qmail.org and search for the word
"delayed". There's only one instance of it: "Brian T. Wightman has
written a delayed-mail notifier." That includes a link to his software
(I've never used it, but...).

These things happen. Some people choose to use shorter queuelifetime
settings for this very reason.

qmail-notify <http://untroubled.org/qmail-notify/> works fine.
