Hi, I've written/modified (based on checkpw-pop3 code by David Phillips)
and alternative checkpassword that works with LDAP. It just does LDAP
binding with the credentials given at SMTP AUTH level. If binding fails,
SMTP AUTH fails. The source code can be downloaded from:
http://www.staltari.com.ar/qmail/ (maybe Russell could add this to qmail
homepage). checkpw-pop3 help me out a lot in different situations and I
wanted to give something back to the community with this little
modification to the original software.
