Whats with this list!?

Whats with this list!?

Hey people, when I post to this list I get all these E-Mails, see attached.

People shouldn’t allow out of office to send mail to mailing lists.

The undeliverables don’t make sense, they should be un-registered already.

6 messages generated to my address from one post that I did.. geez, that would just about be considered Spam.

It's not news, and there's nothing we (the other subscribers of this list) can
do about it. Try contacting the idiot postmasters who allow their systems to
incorrectly auto-respond to mailing-list traffic.

Forwarding *additional* copies of this crap to the list was particularly
boneheaded on your part, methinks.

What can your poor little mail server not handle attachments? Don't
worry, I know the actual reason, I'm not an idiot.
I didn't think this was the Qmail-FLAME list however.

Please do not top-post to the list
Read the link in charles message to understand why, and to generally
get the most out of this mail list.
Step 4 would have prevented the original post, and step 10 would have
made it posted correctly.
Charles is always very helpful on this list, which leads me to think
his mail server is doing just fine.

Forging unsubscribe messages might work. If their autoresponder responds to
those it should confirm the unsubscribe request automatically.
