If you have commit privileges on Python but are not subscribed to
python-committers, please let me know and I will subscribe you. Membership
on python-committers is mandatory as that's where we announce branch
freezes, etc.

Would it be helpful if I was subscribed? I'm not strictly a committer,
but what with the Mercurial migration I imagine it won't be long
before the first cset bearing my name appears in the Python repository
(plus I just saw there was some discussion about the hg migration
there which I could weigh in on).

Cheers,

Dirkjan

Maybe you should just get the commit privileges now. Any objections?

Not from me, obviously.

Cheers,

Dirkjan

Since no one objected, I will give Dirkjan commit privs so he can work on
the hg migration. Now I just need you, Dirkjan, to get a contributor
agreement sent in and then send python-dev your SSH2 key and we will get you
set up.
