Dear Brian,
Mmm, It seems that the behavior is changed, but not resolved yet. I
observe now
@List[(3)] = 3
$List[3] = 3
, which are not the expected results of
@List[(3)] = 3.5
$List[3] = 3.5
I've tested on perl 5.14.2 (comes with Ubuntu 12.04) and perl
5.16.0 (just compiled).
BTW, I totally forget about how I have encountered with this symptom.
