This is a bug report for perl from jesse [at] fsck,
generated with the help of perlbug 1.36 running under perl 5.10.0.

We should clarify that any change _committed_ to Configure needs
to be extracted into metaconfig. also that metaconfig lives in git, not sourceforge.
