OpenStack Storage - Swift Installation

Guys,
I??m totally new to OpenStack and want to get my hands dirty. Quick Question ?C I would like to know if OpenStack Storage ?C Swift supports CentOS without any issues ?, though I know that CentOS supports Ubuntu very well.
Since OpenStack Compute ?C Nova supports Ubuntu, I would like to go with 1 OS for both. Any suggestions ?
