Hi:
I hope someday I?ll be able to help a lot of people about Swift, but until now I?m the one that needs some help every other time :-)
Well... I?m wondering if it?s possible to upload some object to an specific node of the cluster.
I have configured swift with 5 zones, but when I type:
swift -A http... -U ... -K ... upload ...
I can?t determine where the system stores the information I?m uploading.
I?m aware that my question is against the concept of cloud but I trying to do some tests.
Thanks a lot.

Hello Sergio,
you can not upload to specific nodes, you can however use swift-get-nodes to find out where an object has been stored. The Syntax is as follows:
swift-get-nodes /etc/swift/[account|container|object].ring.gz [account] [container] [object]
So if you were searching for the object "testobj" in the container "testcont", by the user "system:root", you would type:
swift-get-nodes /etc/swift/object.ring.gz system:root testcont testobj
If you were searching for the container "testcont" by the same user, it would be:
swift-get-nodes /etc/swift/container.ring.gz system:root testcont

Hope this helps.
Regards,
David
