Brandable OpenStack Storage Clients

Hi,

Have you been looking for brandable OpenStack clients for Windows, Mac and
Mobile devices? Gladinet provides those, and more.

You see, Gladinet Cloud is a cloud storage access platform that can be
white labeled to serve as the front-end for your OpenStack object storage
deployment. With it, we can quickly create a branded, dropbox-like solution
for your customers or employees using Gladinet's white labeled
infrastructure in your data center. Capabilities include:

Online Collaboration (including AD integration, file server support, and
more)
Offsite Backup (using existing 3rd party backup tools or Gladinet Cloud
Server capabilities)
Online File Storage (hybrid cloud access, synchronization, and more)
Remote Access for Windows, Mac and Mobile devices

If this sounds interesting, please send me an email to schedule some time
for a quick introductory call.

Thanks,
Franklyn

Hello Franklyn,

Your email is not relevant to this list. This list is about the development of the OpenStack foundation, and not about any ancillary services delivered on top of OpenStack.

Thanks,
Van

Re: Brandable OpenStack Storage Clients [In reply to]

Dear OpenStack Foundation members.

Please consider the following proposal:
Please create a "wall of shame" page on the OpenStack web site where any member of the Open Stack community who fails to understand how to participate in a community can get some extra exposure. After all, it seems that people like to market their wares. And a Wall of Shame is sort of like free marketing. Depending on the frequency and severity of the mistake they can get silver, gold, or platinum status.

First time gets a warning, of course.
Second offence: A logo, name, and a malformed link for a week.

Think about it. It could be both fun and effective.

Re: Brandable OpenStack Storage Clients [In reply to]

Folks
While I agree that marketing products is not something we all like, we really need to consider the revenue generating impact of marketing. This can provide some added source of revenues to OpenStack. It will also help create more awareness of OpenStack and get a broader adoption.

While I sympathize with Gil, I do not necessarily think of a "Page of Shame" or "Wall of Shame". I would rather create an avenue where this marketing literature can me made visible and we charge money for it.

Thanks & Regards
Raja Srinivasan

There is a time and a place for everything. This is not the place for
unsolicited advertising.
