https://bugzilla.mindrot.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2005 Bug #: 2005 Summary: scp should not overwrite files (without confirmation) Classification: Unclassified Product: Portable OpenSSH Version: 5.9p1 Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: major Priority: P2 Component: scp AssignedTo: unassigned-bugs [at] mindrot ReportedBy: calestyo [at] scientia Hi. Not sure whether this has already been discussed previously (because it seems so basic to me), but at least I haven't found it. Right now, scp overwrites files (both when copied locally or remotely). scp, being a conceptual relative to cp, should provide something like cp's "-i". Cheers, Chris. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.mindrot.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching the assignee of the bug. _______________________________________________ openssh-bugs mailing list openssh-bugs [at] mindrot https://lists.mindrot.org/mailman/listinfo/openssh-bugs
