This can be expected to appear in stderr:
$ ssh -8
sh: illegal option -- 8
usage: ssh [-1246AaCfgKkMNnqsTtVvXxY] [-b bind_address] [-c
cipher_spec]
But this should go to stdout, not stderr:
$ ssh --help | less
Please chnage the -help option to send text to stdout, not stderr.
See GNU cp(1), ls(1) etc.
