ntop frontend error !

Hi all.

I configured ntop to collect netflow data.

When i select a netflow interface and then Summary -> Traffic -> click on Application Tab, I get the following error:

"uncaught exception: jQuery UI Tabs: Mismatching fragment identifier."

I don't get the same error if i select the same report for a physical interface.

I have installed SVN ntop version ntop v.4.1.2 (64 bit) [x86_64-2.6.32-71.el6.x86_64-linux-gnu] on Centos 6.

Any ideas ?

Thank

Giovanni

Re: ntop frontend error ! [In reply to]

Analyzing the html code i found this.

The code about the tab "Application Tab" is

<li class="ui-state-default ui-corner-top"><a href="#tabs-4">Application Protocols</a></li>

So, clicking on this tab the href #tabs-4 will be activated.

But i can't find the #tab-4 definition in the code above. Probably the code referred by this tab is not generated for Netflow interfaces ? If yes, what i have to configure to have this statistics ?

Thanks a lot

Giovanni

Giovanni
I need to address this issue with Netflow you are right. When handling flows the application Id is not supported if you use v5 or non nProbe-generated flows thus I can remove such menu on that case. Please file a bug on http://bugzilla.ntop.org

Re: ntop frontend error ! [In reply to]

Thanks Luca.

I will open the bug.

Is it possible to resolve the issue using v9 or other flows ? So, can i have, with other version flows, "Application Protocols" tab active with statistics ?

Thanks a lot

Giovanni
