500Mbps/1Gbps Data Dump on Hard Disk

Hi,
After 1 week, im back with another question. We are searching the better
hardware solution to solve our problem that is: analysis of the University's
network, packet capture and data damp (all packets, payload included, if is
possible). Well, i wanna ask you if there is another way to the nbox
Recorder?!?! to write packet on the disk.
ps: if i get nbox Recorder, i also buy nBox (rackable) too? Or may operate
separately?
