TCP/UDP Service/Port Usage Display Statistics

This may be a rather stupid question but when looked at the TCP/UDP
Service/Port Usage under a specific host, if I see something like:

IP Service Port #Client Sessions
mdqs 666 8/900

Can I assume that means 8 total outgoing sessions with a total of
900bits transferred?

As an aside, seems like an issue right? I've never heard of mdqs nor
have any idea why a server should be making an outside world connection
using it
