ntop reading from tcpdump file

ntop installed in OpenSuSE 11.1
I am trying to read info from a tcpdump .bin file but have no graphics
at all - it inform that rdd plugin is not available.
(command: ntop -m 192.168.10.0/24 -d -f /path_to/file.bin)
note: with or without -d (daemon) get the very same result: no graphics.
BUT.. when starting it the normal way (evaluating traffic) from the
startup script (/etc/init.d/ntop start) the graphics are all
available.
any hint on how to have graphics from the dump file?
