Hi PK ~200 Mbit is the most I can achieve these days. I have on the pipeline to start recoding ntop this summer, but until then if you wanna go faster you need to pre-process traffic with nprobe. USing that you can very well monitor 1Gbit links Cheers Luca On May 5, 2011, at 10:40 PM, Payam Khobdeh wrote: > Hello Luca, > > Thanks for all of your work regarding ntop, TNAPI, and PF_RING. > > We are trying to configure ntop as mentioned above to monitor traffic that is predominately 64Byte UDP packets. My question to you is if there are limitations as to how much traffic ntop can interpret. We are seeing that a traffic monitoring level of 750Mbps ntop is only reporting about 270Mbps of traffic and reporting 185% packets dropped on the libpcap. > > Any advice or references would be greatly appreciated. > > Thanks, > > PK Khobdeh > _______________________________________________ > Ntop-misc mailing list > Ntop-misc [at] listgateway > http://listgateway.unipi.it/mailman/listinfo/ntop-misc --- "Debugging is twice as hard as writing the code in the first place.
