The -p flag will disappear at some point. If protos are not detected we probably have a bug in ndpi. Please provide us a pcap file we can use to reproduce the problem Thanks Luca On Apr 19, 2012, at 9:54 PM, synacl [at] mail wrote: > I am running 4.99.0 and nDPI does not seem to be picking up all the protocols on the wire. For example FTP has not been detected with over 24 hours of traffic running. Also I am seeing HTTP, but none of the HTTP "sub" protocols like Facebook, Yahoo, etc. My question is what is the role of the -p variable with nDPI enabled. When I leave -p set to the default /etc/ntop/protocols.lst I do not get any nDPI decode. I am running ntop with the option removed currently. > > > _______________________________________________ > Ntop-dev mailing list > Ntop-dev [at] listgateway > http://listgateway.unipi.it/mailman/listinfo/ntop-dev --- Keep looking, don't settle - Steve Jobs _______________________________________________ Ntop-dev mailing list Ntop-dev [at] listgateway http://listgateway.unipi.it/mailman/listinfo/ntop-dev
