JUNOS downloads

Has anybody else noticed that the "old software download page" isn't
getting updated at the same time as the new one? For example, 11.4R3
came out 3 days ago, but it isn't listed on the old software page at
all. The "new and improved" system also appears to require javascript to
work "properly", for example the "proceed" button at the bottom of the
EULA acceptance is non-functional in lynx or elinks if you're trying to
download your JUNOS images via a unix shell.

Re: JUNOS downloads [In reply to]

Using a unix shell, to download software directly to a router, which itself uses a unix shell..? Sorry - That's too clever (and hence; not allowed). =)

Re: JUNOS downloads [In reply to]

Cisco you can use a nix shell to download it. Most people don't like reuploading software over a crappy hotel network when it's a few 100 megabytes. Web developers don't think about the user experience for these things.

Luckily the new URLs contain magic hash which will allow direct download
anywhere, no basic auth and no cookies needed.
