Contact at "ec.europa.eu" / IPv6 broken

Can others confirm that this site:

http://ec.europa.eu/

...is broken over IPv6, but working over IPv4? Seems like the webserver
is returning a 503 over IPv6 only.

We reported this last week, but have received no reply; does anyone have
contacts into the hosting organisation that can bump the issue? We tried
contacting the site via voice, and were politely rebuffed.

It looks like they've got this site sitting behind a load-balancer. Some
of the real hosts sitting behind it seem to work fine; others don't. I'm
getting lots of 503s, but it works for > 50% of requests.

* HTTP 1.0, assume close after body
< HTTP/1.0 503 Service Unavailable
< Cache-Control: no-cache
< Connection: close
< Content-Type: text/html
<
<html><body><h1>503 Service Unavailable</h1>
No server is available to handle this request.
</body></html>
* Closing connection #0

(works when I do the same with '-4' option)

Yes, it mentioned a problem with the backend. The way DNS is used
for redundancy makes it more work to troubleshoot.

For the record, this got worse a couple of days back and I reported it
again. After a round of discussion they changed something and since
Friday it has been much better. The root cause might still be there
though.

I got feedback from the network dept at the EC .

They told me that they finally fixed the multiple issues.

Let me know,

Kind regards,
