Invalid Module XMR

Has anyone had a card crash during a software upgrade?

I am currently trying to bring this card back up, but the after
initialization the card shuts down, it
registers as in invalid module in "show version" and and the card state is
down and (error 5 = down due to
timeout). Does anyone have experience with this issue? Any advice would be
helpful.

Thanks
Nick Jumonville

Yes. Had to RMA it as there's only one Boot ROM on each linecard so
when the tftp transfer goes wrong it may not boot anymore.

That process has been made a lot more robust since then, though.

What happens when you rconsole to the linecard at boot? If you see
any output as it's being powered up it may well be salvageable.
