Summit1 multiple spt support WAS:AW: Does the summit 1 support copper gbics?

Hello Olaf, Thanks for your reply. Does anyone know what exactly "multiple spanning tree support" from the summit 1's datasheet means? What I'd need is one spanning tree instance per vlan so that one customer can not disturb another's network. What I have experienced with an Copper GBIC in an Alpine module is, that the link was always reported up, even without cable connected :(( This might have been a prob of the GBIC I used? /Olaf -----Urspr?ngliche Nachricht----- Von: Gunther Stammwitz [mailto:gstammw [at] gmx] Gesendet: Donnerstag, 23. In almost every datasheet there's mentioned gbic-sc... Can I insert copper gbics without any problems?
