Re: Problem installing SSH software module in Extreme XOS
[In reply to]
Try and run a checksum on the file that is failing if not you might have to downgrade a little bit and try out a lower version like [summitX-22.214.171.124-ssh.xmod] since you are running XOS = 126.96.36.199!
Hope it helps.

Subject: [e-nsp] Problem installing SSH software module in Extreme XOS
I am running XOS 188.8.131.52 on a SummitX450 and I am trying to install the latest SSH software module: summitX-184.108.40.206-ssh.xmod.
When trying to install it on my switch I get the following error:
SummitX450# download image 10.10.10.2 summitX-220.127.116.11-ssh.xmod "VR-Default" primary
Do you want to install image after downloading? (y - yes, n - no, <cr> - cancel)
Downloading to Switch...
Installing to primary partition!
Installing to Switch.Error: Failed to install image - Can not read spec file
Does the SW module have to of the exact same SW level as my XOS installation?
(Currently I have: XOS = 18.104.22.168 but SSH SW module = 22.214.171.124)
