Native LDAP authentication , when ?

Hi
Few monthes ago I posted a request to know WHEN Ontap will support
LDAP as an authetication method ( instead of NIS/YP ) ?
I haven't received any infos from Netapp folks about this subject ...
I mean LDAP and certainly NOT M$ Active Directory ! ( openldap prefered ! )
Any infos about this welcome !
