compression DOT 8.1-7mode

Has anyone turned on compression on their primary storage for DOT 8.1x 7-mode?
I am upgrading our heads (6040's) to 8.1p2 and wanted to know what others are using.. These filers are primarily used for FC and VMWare with mostly Windows boxes with 60% dedupe savings. Its also acts as an Exchange CCR for Exchange 2007... I read the TR that shows the gains (if any) that is on the NOW site..
Any info and or opinions is appreciated in advance.
