SFU mounting NFS netapp volume

Dear toasters,
Do i need to do anything special on netapp side for SFU windows nfs client
mounting?
I saw something on the group in regards to this:
"It's user name mapping most likely... make sure to check that box on
install. Windows won't be able to mount until you map the windows user to
root (default only allows root to mount)."
Is it in reference to usermap.cfg? (but that is only for cifs/nfs maping,
no?)
please advice.
