We are currently running 7.2.4 on a pair of 3040 filers and considering
upgrading if there are reduplication improvements, but currently we
don't have any panics or known problems. Are the waters safe with
7.2.6.1 or 7.3.1 lately, I haven't heard any complaints in a few
months? Anything to watch out for?

There is a bug I know of with 7.3.1 and 10gigE. I'd wait for 7.3.2 if
you're using them.

I've done the bump from 7.2.4P5 to 7.3.1P2 on our two 3040 clusters and a
stand alone 3040. No issues or scary bugs to report so far. A couple
annoyances with the 7.2.x train have completely gone away (issues with
netgroup and multistore, mbufs, dedupe glitches, and the notorious quota
problems with 7.2.5) I haven't seen those at all.

We're in a similar situation. 7.2.4 on a pair of 3040 clusters.
NetApp tech support is recommending we move to 7.2.6.1 which we hope
to get a window next month.

7.3.1 was not recommended to us (for SnapVault reasons), we've been advised
to wait until 7.3.2.

we are using 10GBE and 7.3.1 under heavy load with no issues and even under netapp guidance. i saw the BURT but we couldnt get our or any support
to actually explain to us what the issue was or how it was triggered.

i did however see several people having tons of issues with 7.2.6 on the lists that left me not feeling good about that release.

We are running 7.3.1 with 10Gig ethernet, it has been stable, although
from one bit of our network we where getting bad performance but
turning toe off seemed to make that issue disappear. With toe turned
on with 7.2.?? the systems where unusable.

I believe I am not hitting this issue because i utilize vifs and viftrunks which disable the TOE portion. So far we have had zero performance or issues with 7.3.1 and 10GBE

We've been using 7.2.6.1 on a 3050 cluster for a little over a month now
with no problems, though we don't currently use any asis on our cluster.
