If we where to purchase Nessus, would we be able to download only the plug-in's and install them on our scan box that is inside the network? My scan box will not have any outside (internet) connections so it will not be able to download any updates. Also what are the limitations on the number of machines I can scan with a purchaced professional copy? Thanks much.... > Hi Scott, We do have a procedure for offline/manual download of new plugins. There is no limit of the number of IP addresses you can scan with Nessus when subscribed to the professional feed. If you are performing scans of large numbers of IP addresses, I recommend considering the Security Center for centralized scanning, scheduling reporting and analysis of your data. If you have any further questions please email us to sales [at] tenablesecurit and we will put you in touch with our Federal Govt' Sales team.
