telia/cogent partition

Can anyone confirm _from the field_, a partition between telia 1299 and
cogentco 174?

I have trouble tickets numbers, but I want to hear if anyone is actually
affected by this.

Can you provide a pingable IP in Telia (I have Cogent connection).

Confirmed.

Telia's BGP announcements include essentially no paths with 174 (a few
leaks through 1299 & 7018). And a machine single homed to Telia
cannot trace to as174 hosts or even resolve cognetco.com hostnames.

I only see 1299 via my 6453 connection.

My wife at a local university which is only connected to Cogent for
transit also confirmed 1299 stuff is not visible from there.

Tracing route to 80.91.254.216 over a maximum of 30 hops

1 1 ms <1 ms <1 ms 129.97.202.3
2 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms 129.97.1.10
3 * * * Request timed out.
4 129.97.1.10 reports: Destination host unreachable.

Trace complete.

From Tyco Road Virginia, the last time they were in my 6 hour BGP
status runs over Cogent was March 13 at Noon :

bgp.sum.Mar_13_12:07:00_EST_2008: AS 1299
TELIANET | 45 prefixes | 2624 prefixes &
378 ASN supported | 245414 Addresses | 2 hops | as path 174 1299

Now (10 minutes ago) I still have nothing from them.

;; ANSWER SECTION:
www.telia.net. 86400 IN CNAME www.teliasonera.se.
www.teliasonera.se. 900 IN CNAME tsc.han.telia.se.
tsc.han.telia.se. 3600 IN A 193.44.158.99

193.44.158.99 is assigned to TeliaSonera Network Services

multicasttech-1>show ip bgp 193.44.158.99
% Network not in table

They seem pretty well shut off over Cogent.

AS 3308 TELIANET-DENMARK | 1 prefixes | 1
prefixes & 1 ASN supported | 510 Addresses | 6 hops | as
path 174 3292 15423 2686 1299 3308

is still there.
