Access denied for user: 'mythtv@tochtli' (Using password: YES)

folks, i just finished installing mythtv on a debian sarge
system. i am having trouble running the mythtv binary.
it exits with the message:

# mythtv
Unable to connect to database!
Driver error was [1/1045]:
QMYSQL3: Unable to connect
Database error was:
Access denied for user: 'mythtv [at] tochtl' (Using password: YES)

couldn't open db

however i am able to connect to mysql as mythtv [at] tochtl
using mysqlcc.

any thoughts, suggestions, and rtfms (w/a pointer to fm)
would be appreciated.

Did you check the settings in mysql.txt?

hi flo. thanks for your reply. i have looked at it
and everything looks reasonable to me (i'm not
100% sure what it's supposed to be) except
at the bottom the of the file was the line:
DBPassword=VJUtrdHN
i changed it to mythtv and now when i run mythtv
it's telling me to run mythfrontend not mythtv.
i think i'm missing something. i better go back
and reread the docs i've found...

Type mythfrontend, not mythtv, to run the mythtv frontend.
