I have two running on a 2.6.8 kernel, and havn't tried the 2.6.10rc1 yet (if it ain't broke!). I know when I tried (for 2+ weeks!) I was getting segfaults, and once it did stop segfaulting didn't tune!, with the frontend (mt352) and applied patch after patch. Finally started clean and installed the bttv-0.9.15 modules and the dvb-kernel modules in that order. Got further than previously but frontend still segfaulted. Turned out there was a duplicate module installed (can't remember which one, but may have been video-buf.ko). Just removed the one that WASN'T from the dvb-kernel patch and all works 100% now. It was probably something I did but might be worth checking. The Avermedia 771 is a great card and once you remove the faceplate offers rf pass-through too (needed once I got my second card). Think it is one of the cheapest too! My reception is crap at the best of times, but the reception from these cards is brilliant!. Havn't got the remote working though but that's only because I use an XBox for a frontend. Anyway big thanks to everyone who did all the patches for the card, and an extra big thanks to everyone who works on MythTV. Even the wife LOVES it, and trust me that says alot! Hope this helps.
