PVR350 X Session Too Big (and 3 panes)

All,
I have been working on getting my MythTV box setup for the past few weeks and have tried very hard not to ask stupid questions (this is my first question thus far). I have followed Jarrod's guide and have gotten to the Running X on PVR 350 Out piece. I downloaded Jarrod's XF86Config-PVR350.txt and edited the BusID to match mine (fb0 was the same as mine already). After manually running (will not work at boot time for some reason)
"/sbin/depmod -a"
"/sbin/modprobe ivtv"
"/sbin/rmmod saa7127"
"/sbin/insmod saa7127 enable_output=1 output_select=1"

I then copy the edited XF86Config-PVR350.txt to the XF86Config file. I then restart X session by using CTRL+ALT+BCKSPC and get a very clear image on the TV.

The Problem right now (besides having to manually load all of the lines above) is that the image on the TV is much too large for my screen and goes across three separate horizontal sections of the TV (BTW this is NTSC). I have seen references to this same type of problem in various news groups, but I can not seem to piece together a solution. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You,
Mike

There are settings under the setup button for the size of the gui as
well as the offset which you will probably need to get the gui centered
up on your TV.

I believe that you are talking about MythTV itself - correct? What about
running X session on the TV through my PVR350. What settings fix that. I
used Jarrod's XF86Config file, and it appears that many have had success,
but I have the issue noted in the subject line. Any ideas?

Re: PVR350 X Session Too Big (and 3 panes) [In reply to]

Okay everyone - Hopefully I can add some value to some other noobs out
there. I know have a perfect X display on my TV. I never did change
anything in my XF86Config. I just moved forward with Jarrod's HOWTO using
my monitor connected to my video card. I went all the way through
"Configure Automatic Startup" (stopping before "Configuring MythTV add-ons"
(just have not got to it yet). Once I was done with this, I downloaded
Jarrod's XF86Config-PVR350.txt once again (I lost it when converting to
XFS), changed my BusID, copied it to XF86Config, and restarted X via
CTRL+ALT+BCKSPC and it X cam up on my TV beautifully. Now I hope it holds
when I eventually re-boot. BTW I did not change any of the mythfrontend
Appearance settings as of yet (They are all still 0). It worked without
doing this,

Thanks,
Mike
