Need a hand getting a STB TV card working

I'm trying to get my old STB TV card working with MythTV. I was hoping
someone could shed some light on what I am doing wrong.
I have tried using the following for modprobe command:
modprobe bttv card=3 tuner=6
and
modprobe bttv card=3 tuner=2
Both Mythtv and xawtv show nothing.
Oh, OS is Redhat 9 with a default kernel.
