I cannot delete recordings in "All Recordings" group in mythweb

For a while I've not been able to use mythweb to delete recordings from the main Recordings page, i.e. clicking on the "delete" and "delete + rerecord" buttons does nothing. I have to click on a recording, so that I see its details, and there the buttons work correctly. Just now I realised that if, instead of "all recordings" I choose the recording title e.g. "Mythbusters", the two buttons are operational again on the main screen.
Could this be some sort of memory limit? The total programs are 427, not too many, I guess.
I've increased the memory_limit to 256M in the /etc/php5/apache2/php.ini file (I am running opensuse 12.1, if it makes any difference).
I'd appreciate any help.
