Will reinstalling mythtv-backend kill the database?

Hiya,

I'm having some issues with my 0.24-fixes combined BE/FE.

The wife switched the power off to the box and in the process created
several thousand lost+found files and a broken FE.
The quickest way to get the box back into a working state was to
"apt-get install --reinstall" most of the myth packages.

I didn't do the mythbackend as that seemed to be working, however I've
still got some strange issues and wanted to finish off the
re-installation process.

My question is, will running "apt-get install --reinstall
mythtv-backend" kill the database?

Thanks,

Ian.

No... the database doesn't get created until you configure the backend...
if it already exists, and you provide the credentials, it will just use the
existing database.
