mythweb not working after mysql password changed

mythweb not working after mysql password changed

Hi all-

Changed the mysql password for mythtv user from the default "mythtv".
Frontends successfully connect using the new password. I can even log
into phpmyadmin using the new password.
I put the new password into
/usr/share/mythtv/mythweb/mythweb.conf.apache and restarted apache2.
However, mythweb still gives me the dreaded "Access denied for user
'mythtv'@'localhost' (using password: YES) [#1045]" page.

mythweb was working fine before the change (using the default "mythtv"
password in mythweb.conf.apache).

Is there another file lurking somewhere with the default password that
I need to go and edit?

Mythweb might take the password either from the config.xml or mysql.txt
in /etc/mythtv...

It's worth checking here:

/etc/apache2/sites-available/mythweb.conf

HI Thomas-
On my backend (Mythbuntu 12.04), those files appear to have been
auto-generated with the correct password when I changed the password
from the mysql command line ... yet mythweb still doesn't work.

Brilliant! That was the one. It appears in Mythbuntu, mythweb
ignores the correct password set in at least three other intuitive
locations, and will only connect to the DB if this file has the
correct password!
