If only he had someone helping him ;-) But to (barely) answer the question: mythtv dot releases are overwhelmingly bug fixes of one sort or another. The theory is that you should be able to think of it as 0.25, except even more stable. The actual change list is captured here: https://github.com/MythTV/mythtv/commits/fixes%2F0.25/ Have fun!
