hauppauge dcr-2650 issues
|
|
I'm running mythbuntu 11.10 with the latest 0.25-fixes on a master backend with 3 dcr-2650 boxes plugged into it. Aside from the random jump file errors on the frontends everything's been running fine for a while now. This morning my wife went to watch live tv and it immediately went back to the main menu. I checked the backend logs and see: Jul 9 12:24:04 mythtv-backend mythbackend[7043]: I ProcessRequest mainserver.cpp:1360 (HandleAnnounce) MainServer::ANN Playback Jul 9 12:24:04 mythtv-backend mythbackend[7043]: I ProcessRequest mainserver.cpp:1362 (HandleAnnounce) adding: schevalley-Latitude-D820 as a client (events: 0) Jul 9 12:24:04 mythtv-backend mythbackend[7043]: I TVRecEvent tv_rec.cpp:1029 (HandleStateChange) TVRec(7): Changing from None to WatchingLiveTV Jul 9 12:24:04 mythtv-backend mythbackend[7043]: I TVRecEvent tv_rec.cpp:3495 (TuningCheckForHWChange) TVRec(7): HW Tuner: 7->7 Jul 9 12:24:04 mythtv-backend mythbackend[7043]: E TVRecEvent hdhrstreamhandler.cpp:434 (TunerSet) HDHRSH(20103BD4-1): DeviceSet(vchannel 664): ERROR: invalid virtual channel Jul 9 12:24:04 mythtv-backend mythbackend[7043]: E TVRecEvent tv_rec.cpp:3681 (TuningFrequency) TVRec(7): Failed to set channel to 664. Reverting to kState_None Jul 9 12:24:04 mythtv-backend mythbackend[7043]: I TVRecEvent tv_rec.cpp:1029 (HandleStateChange) TVRec(7): Changing from WatchingLiveTV to None I think the key is the "invalid virtual channel" I checked using the hdhomerun_config_gui and I can tune channels there, but it's not using the same virtual channel numbers. Calling up the tuner box web page and looking at the logs there, I see: 20120708-02:31:28 CableCARD: Tuner1: vchannel 664 (597MHz-629) access = subscribed 20120708-14:18:03 CableCARD: Tuner1: vchannel 664 (597MHz-629) access = subscribed 20120708-17:02:21 CableCARD: Tuner1: vchannel 668 (393MHz-732) access = subscribed 20120708-23:36:22 CableCARD: Tuner1: vchannel 668 (393MHz-732) access = subscribed 20120708-23:36:35 CableCARD: Tuner1: vchannel 685 (135MHz-661) access = subscribed 20120709-13:34:51 CableCARD: Tuner1: vchannel 685 unknown (not found) 20120709-13:34:52 CableCARD: Tuner1: vchannel 685 unknown (not found) 20120709-13:34:53 CableCARD: Tuner1: vchannel 685 unknown (not found) 20120709-13:34:58 CableCARD: Tuner1: vchannel 685 unknown (not found) 20120709-13:35:02 CableCARD: Tuner1: vchannel 685 unknown (not found) all the logs after 20120709-13:34 say the unknown line. Last night it worked fine. I ran mythfilldatabase to see if that had problems and it worked fine, but I still can't tune a channel. I also went into the source config in mythtv-setup and change the tuning mode from us-bcast to us-cable and also reselected that source for all the tuners and had it download channel info from the source and that didn't help either. At this point I think I need to remove the schedules direct source and readd it and then recreate all the tuners in the system. Unless someone here has a better solution. Thanks!
