Tuning time 10 seconds

This is my set-up

1 x Ubuntu 12.04 FE
1 x Ubuntu 12.04 BE Master (TBS 6284 DVB-T2)
Both running Myth 0.25.0+fixes.20120410.1f5962a-0ubuntu1

When changing channel it seems to take around 10 seconds, before
looking at disk i/o, dvb card drivers, is this a normal time for
MythTV?

This is the output of my backend log:

Re: Tuning time 10 seconds [In reply to]

There are channel tuning timings in the backend for the card, have you
checked them? I have mine set to 3000 and 5500 ms.

Re: Tuning time 10 seconds [In reply to]

I have the defaults
-signal timeout 1000
-tuning timeout 3000

In the logs it looks like it's waiting around 5 seconds before been
able to access the new file for the channel change. Wondered if this
was a problem other people see in 0.25
