New location for Mythtv for Android development apk file

New location for Mythtv for Android development apk file

To All Mythtv for Android Testers:

I have moved the location of the apk download to the github repository
downloads page
https://github.com/MythTV-Android/mythtv-for-android/downloads

The current apk is "Current Development Build 2012-06-11"

One thing to note, preliminary MythMote integration is now in this build.

Also, the application has been back-ported to pre-honeycomb as well. You
will need an external player like BS Player Lite in the Play Store.

Hi;

Does that mean it can be tested?

If so, how is a remote frontend configured?

Remote front-end are auto detected through zeroconf. No configuration is
required.

Hmm... There shouldn't be anything blocking that on github. I am currently
on vacation and, baring any issues with Tropical Storm Debbie, will be home
in a few days. I will check it then.

It appears fine can download both .zip and .tar.gz

I have been unable to download the apk file since the 6/15 upload. �Clicking on the link brings up the QR code, then clicking on the "Download File" link at the bottom results in a red box with "File Not Found".

I believe the .zip and tar.gz are the source code and do not contain the apk file. �Regardless, those are not the links that can't be downloaded. �The apk file is located at�https://github.com/MythTV-Android/mythtv-for-android/downloads�per the beginning of this thread.��

Going to that page also gives me a file not found when clicking the .apk
link.

In fact going to
https://github.com/MythTV-Android/mythtv-for-android/downloads shows a
total of zero downloads for that file.

Yea I had that same thing happen to me when I tried downloading it, I
opened a ticket about it on the Issue tracker but have yet to hear
anything.

Clicking on that link produces a 'File not found', but the two buttons below it saying, download as .zip or download as tar.gz both worked.

I will be home from vacation on Thursday and upload a new on. I will also
see if one of the other guys can build one in the meantime.
