Mythmetadatalookup Fails with "Television grabber not functional. Aborting this run."

Mythtv 0.25 on Debian Wheezy/Sid from debian-multimedia.org sources.

I upgraded from 0.23 to 0.24 about a month ago and from 0.24 to 0.25
when 0.25 was released shortly after. I don't think metadata worked on
0.24 either. Movie look-ups work fine, TV look-ups fail. I think it's
probably a configuration problem on my end, possibly dependency on
debian-multimedia end. Would appreciate any input. Error doesn't give
much of a hint, to me at least. Thanks,

Two more things I just thought to add. Just noticed that it apears to
be a 0.25pre version. Unfortunately debian-multimedia doesn't list a
git version string so not really sure what the date of this build is.
I was building my own for 0.23.

Second, under setup>artwork and data sources the television metadata
source is blank.

Run "PREFIX/share/mythtv/metadata/Television/ttvdb.py --version" and
output the results. PREFIX defaults to "/usr/local" in MythTV's build
system, but your distro may install to "/usr" instead.

Distro has it in /usr/

mythtv [at] sil:~/$ PREFIX/share/mythtv/metadata/Television/ttvdb.py --version
-bash: PREFIX/share/mythtv/metadata/Television/ttvdb.py: No such file
or directory
mythtv [at] sil:~/$ /usr/share/mythtv/metadata/Television/ttvdb.py --version
Could not import levenshtein string distance method from MythTV Python Bindings
Error:(No module named utility)

Thought it might be a dependency problem so did a search for packages
with 'levenshtein' in the name and installed them, still no change to
the command above

mythtv [at] sil:~/src/mythtv/mythtv/programs/mythmetadatalookup$ aptitude
search levenshtein
i libtext-levenshtein-perl
i libtext-levenshteinxs-perl
i python-levenshtein
p python-levenshtein-dbg

Follow-up to this problem. I solved it by purging all mythtv packages,
and then searching for and removing any mythtv related files (other
than mythconverg database and .mythtv directory in my user home).
Reinstalled the packages and now have metadata bliss. Problem was
likely a python-bindings conflict from an old, partially removed
version. Why the movie lookup worked but not the TV I have no idea.
