I noticed that my disks are doing about 1400kb/s and 10-15 IOPS. This should not strain the disk, but it does appear so in Myth. I have also noticed, when watching livetv, a panning scene has slow downs when the buffer is flushed/written. Playing a pre-recorded show doesn't have the issues. Video's from a remote source (1gig network) play's perfectly. http://www.mythtv.org/pipermail/mythtv-users/2012-January/325763.html <-- This might have been the start of it all....
